Where would we all be without water and electricity 24/7. I've only just been able to get my power back after some sort of fault and I have to say it was possibly one of the worst 5 hrs in recent years. It was comparable to my arms had been chopped off leaving me redundant. I found that I couldn't connect to the 'net, watch television, listen to music, make a cup of coffee, put a quiche in the oven or put the central heating on. It makes me begin to understand how lucky I am to be living in a country that makes these things available to me. I find it difficult to think of what it must be like for people who don't have luxuries of the West. I realize that they have other things that they can do such as cook on an coal fire. I should also point out that I would enjoy to be able to make my own energy and not rely on companies. Unfortunately where I live I don't think this is possible. I have looked into it already.
